Dual event bookings
These terms and conditions refer to a booking package for the two events as stated:
- Youth Travel Workshop Spring: 30-31 March 2023
- Youth Travel Workshop Autumn: 10-11 October 2023
Payments
Full payment should be made at the time of registration or at least within a 7 day period. Registration fees that remain unpaid prior are at the risk of automatic cancellation by the organiser.
All fees are payable in GBP (£) as indicated on the registration form and invoice, by credit card or bank transfer. Payment is required prior to the event. Payment via Paypal is recommended.
Payment can be accepted by BACS transfer to: The Co-operative Bank, PO Box 250, Skelmersdale, WN8 6WT. Account No: 69145511. Sort Code: 08-92-99
Cancellation policy:
BETA will refund fees for registrations cancelled in writing before:
- Spring YTW: 06 March 2023 or receipt of the delegate database, whichever comes first
- Autumn YTW: 18 September 2023 or receipt of the delegate database, whichever comes first
Thereafter the full amount is payable. Substitutions are allowed. The package refers to two events. If cancelling one part of a package, BETA reserves the right to retain the full standard registration fee.
BETA Members
BETA Members that are taking advantage of the ‘member rate’ must have a fully paid up membership for the period leading up to and covering the duration of the event. If you have yet to pay your subscription fees for the period 2023/24 or need support, please contact payments@betauk.com
BETA Members that resign membership between the event dates will be liable to pay the full package Non Members fees, per delegate, per event as applicable.
Book With Confidence
If you’re sick with COVID-19 symptoms or test positive with COVID-19 within 14 days of the event, you can cancel by emailing our events manager helenleigh@betauk.com You’ll be asked to verify this with documentation, and at that point a full refund will be rewarded.
If an attendee has booked and then chooses not to attend, the place can be re-allocated to another person without any administration fee.
Attendees list
The details of participants, accessed via the Marcom eSchedule PRO, are for one-time use in connection with Youth Travel Workshop 2023 and may not be duplicated or shared with a third party.
Eligibility
BETA reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to reject an application without assigning a reason and applications will only be considered for acceptance from applicants whose products are, in the opinion of BETA, compatible with the theme of the event.
Your registration
Your accepted registration entitles you to access to the online event for which you have registered. Any and all other costs associated with your attendance shall be borne solely by you, and BETA shall have no liability for such costs.
By participating in the online event you acknowledge and agree to grant BETA the right at the online event to record, film, live stream, photograph, or capture your likeness in any media now available or hereafter developed and to distribute, broadcast, use, or otherwise globally to disseminate, in perpetuity, such media without any further approval from you or any payment to you. This grant to BETA includes, but is not limited to, the right to edit such media, the right to use the media alone or together with other information, and the right to allow others to use or disseminate the media.
You acknowledge and agree that BETA, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to change any and all aspects of the online event, including but not limited to, the online event name, themes, content, program, speakers, performers, hosts, moderators, venue, and time. Online event content shall be recorded by BETA and will be accessible to paid Participants.
BETA will not accept liability for individual delays or system failures during the online event and in such circumstances the no refund will apply.
Event guide listing & Marcom eSchedule PRO profile
The information provided by participants in their registration form will inform their Event Guide entry and Marcom eSchedule PRO profile. Participants are responsible for notifying BETA of any errors or omissions in any data and no liability shall attach to BETA in respect of undisclosed errors or omissions.
